The Latin American and Caribbean Council On Renewable Energy emerged out of the need for a non-governmental, non-affiliated organization to represent all renewable sectors in the LAC region. Initially, the organization was modeled after the World Council On Renewable Energy (WCRE) and the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) models, in which all renewable industries and sectors are represented and convened.
Initial discussions identified several landmark conferences at which LAC-CORE should be strongly represented: the Renewable Energy Conference in Miami (December 2007) and the Washington Internation Renewable Energy Conference (WIREC) (March 2008). LAC-CORE continues to grow in anticipation of these pivotal events.
LAC-CORE has recently obtained a 501c3 non-profit status! Please join us as we grow. To contact us, please visit our 'contact' page.
